Local writer to hold book signing

BURLEY – The Book Plaza will host Ben Coran on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 12-5:30 p.m. for those who are interested in purchasing his debut book, “The Crimson Ecliptic.”

Coran will grip you with this nerve-jangling murder mystery novel that is a perfect mix of Criminal Minds, Dexter and the Da Vinci Code, with the exception that this story begins in Burley, Idaho.

Although the book is a fictional work of art, it is based on research done by the author of actual serial killers and the FBI’s behavioral analysis team, making the chilling story uncannily realistic.

Coran is a writer and journalist who has been published in numerous newspapers and magazines. He has a degree in Psychology and has researched serial crime both academically and through interviews with real convicted killers and the incredible men and women in law enforcement who catch them.

Coran will be at the Book Plaza to meet with those who purchased his book and he will sign copies and visit with fans of the book, which also heralds the talent of local photographer Abrey Adams, who designed the cover for Coran’s book.

A subsequent signing will be held next week, with location and times to be announced.
