BURLEY – For those whose generation included the King, Elvis Presley, a special nostalgic weekend of the hits made famous by Presley during his 23 years of on and off again stardom, is coming to Burley.

Elvis Artist (Impersonator) Greg Miller, a renowned Elvis performer and friend who has provided 12 years of “legends” and 34 international tours singing Presley’s hit songs, will be onstage at the King Fine Arts Center, Friday, Feb. 17, and Saturday, Feb. 18, in Burley.

This Valentine Special concert will feature the all-star Honeymoon in Vegas band with Miller, all direct from Las Vegas. The shows begin at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets for the event are $20 if purchased prior to the show, or $22 at the door.

Miller is the only Elvis artist who can boast a personal friendship with the King.

From the onset of Elvis’ performances which began in 1954, to his death in 1977, Elvis became known my many in the music industry as one of the most important figures of 20th century pop culture. Much of his popularity sprang from his unconventional and highly controversial dance moves, which were actually generated from nervous shaking of his legs, when the basically shy guy went onstage.

Elvis bounced from singing to movies until drugs took over in the final years of his life. Despite the King’s tragic death, his popularity only increased following his death and today he is hailed as the best-selling solo artist of pop music.

Plan to enjoy an evening with Gene Miller and let him amaze you with his uncanny mirror image and performances of “the King.”

This event is being sponsored by JB’s, Westerra Realty, EZ Money Auto, RV and Repair, Welch Music of Burley and Redder’s Showcase.
