HEYBURN – The Minidoka County Sheriff’s office is still seeking any information they can get about the shooting incident Friday that left Craig Glen Short, 36, of Heyburn, dead.

“We have been following up on leads provided by the public,” Minidoka County Sheriff Eric Snarr said Tuesday.

“We have three detectives following up on the leads we get.”
Snarr said they are still looking for Christopher Cruz, of Heyburn, and his girlfriend Stephanie Pauline Juarez. The couple may be driving a gray Chevy Malibu, with damage to the front bumper. Its license is 4C 84675.

“We are still considering them persons of interest,” Snarr said.

“We also believe they could be armed and dangerous, so we do not want the public to try to approach either Cruz or Juarez. If you see them, call your local law enforcement.”

Officer spent all night Friday combing the property where Cruz lives, as well as a mile stretch of the road adjacent to his home, processing the murder scene.

Anyone with information can call the Minidoka County Sheriff at 434-2320, or call Crime Stoppers, 436-5353, or 678-2900, where you can remain anonymous.
