RUPERT – Minico High School’s commitment to Fuel up to Play 60 saw results recently when a group of students and teachers did a “flash mob” dance during the half-time of the Minico/Burley boys basketball game on January 25, as well as performing in the school’s assembly earlier that day.

Anna Lee Elquist of Planet Zumba taught the students “Get Your Body Moving.”

What began with a group of 17 students grew into a “flash mob” of over 60 students. This is a part of Minico High School’s commitment to empower their youth to take action at their school, and at home, to develop better fitness and nutrition in their lives.

Sandee Nelson, program advisor, would like to thank all the students and teachers for their participation and support.
